Indian Air Force conduct Air Force Common Admission TestAFCAT, for recruitment of candidates into Flying (Short Service Commission only), Technical (Permanent and Short Service Commission) and Ground Duty (Permanent and Short Service Commission) Branches. The AFCAT exam consists of General Aptitude, General Awareness (GK), Verbal Ability, Reasoning and Aptitude.
For all the candidates of the AFCAT, it is mandatory to appear in the written test. Also, the candidates who have applied for the technical posts need to appear in the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
1. Total Time Duration: 2 hours
2. Number of Questions: 100
3. Marking Criteria: +3 for each correct answer
4. Negative Marking: -1 for each incorrect answer
5. No marks for unattended questions.
